2026 Heels, Hopes & Higher Education Event

Join us!

Join us for our annual fundraising event - Heels, Hopes & Higher Education! Our event features the opportunity for women to network, raise funds for local scholarships, and receive enlightening motivation from our keynote speaker.

Registration starts at 10:00 am
Opening remarks at 10:30 am
Anne Bonney begins at 10:45 am
Networking & Happy Hour at 3:00 pm

Featured Speaker:  Anne Bonney

Our keynote speaker Anne Bonney, is a fun, energetic international keynote speaker and courage ignitor.  She is an authority on Change Management, two-time author, host and creator of Dancing in the discomfort Zone Podcast and an experienced virtual, in-person and hybrid workshop facilitator.  After 20 years in highly successful corporate and nonprofit leadership positions, Anne, now uses her experience, education, and expertise to ignite YOUR ability to embrace the discomfort of change, courageous communication and emothional intelligence.

Lunch will be served at 12:00 pm.
Strawberry Fields Salad-Gluten Free
Includes Spring Greens, Caramelized Pecans, Red Onion, Cucumber, Strawberries, Goat Cheese, Strawberry Vinaigrette Dressing. (Vegetarian, Dairy Free & or Nut Free options are available for this salad when registering).

Roasted Chicken Breast

Roasted Chicken Breast served atop Wild Rice and topped with a Spinach Cream Sauce.  Served with seasonal squash.

Meals include freshly baked rolls & butter, freshly brewed regular & decaffeinated coffee, hot tea & iced tea.

Dessert: Cheesecake bars.

Management Women Inc. has awarded over $540,000 in scholarships through proceeds raised at our annual Heels, Hopes & Higher Education event.  Let's continue to support our local outstanding women!

We will have a clothing drive at the event!  Donations of fashionable clothing and accessories at this year's event will benefit YWCA's Women's Career Closet. 

YWCA's Women's Career Closet provides free, work-appropriate clothing to women in the the greater Green Bay Area.  Whether preparing for an interview, re-entering the workforce, or building a wardrobe for an existing job, women 18 years of age or older may visit the Closet up to four times per year to select clothing, shoes, and accessories.  The goal is to boost women's self-confidence by helping them dress for success.  The Women's Career Closet is located in the YWCA's Women's Empowerment Center on the 2nd floor of the YWCA at 203 S. After Hours - Volunteering Opportunity

About this event

Looking for a community volunteer opportunity? Our organization will team up with Green Bay Salvation Army to fulfill their need for volunteers for One Stop School Shop. This event prepares the shop to help children in Brown County get the necessary supplies for them to be successful in school. Volunteers will help sort and organize donated school supplies for One Stop School Shop.

Join our president, Christina Olm on Thursday 9:00 – 12:00. If you can’t make that date, check out the additional dates and times open. Registration for this event is required through the Salvation Army website, see registration link below.

Join us for a meaningful volunteer opportunity at Feeding America Eastern WI in Appleton as we support the impactful The Monthlies Project Pack. Together, we will help assemble essential menstrual health kits, addressing period poverty and barriers it creates. This is a powerful way to give back, connect with fellow members, and make a tangible difference in our communities. We encourage you to step forward, lend your time, and be a part of this important effort.

Registration will need to be completed using the Feeding America link as each participant must sign a waiver.

Building Stronger Communication, Collaboration, and Culture through Understanding Generational Differences in the Workplace

What strengths does each generation bring to your organization? What assumptions do we sometimes make about other generations? Explore how generational differences shape communication, leadership, and workplace culture in this engaging presentation. Participants will gain insight into the strengths, expectations, and communication styles of each generation while learning practical strategies to build collaboration, reduce conflict, and create a more connected and effective workplace.

About Carla Bulbotlz:
Carla Buboltz brings more than 34 years of experience in education, having served as a teacher, mentor, principal, and superintendent. Throughout her career, she has been deeply committed to supporting students, educators, children, and families through both educational leadership and service on nonprofit boards. In retirement, Carla serves as a coach, mentor, trainer, facilitator, and advocate for servant leadership. She recently completed her doctoral degree with research focused on servant leadership and its impact on personal and professional growth. Carla is passionate about building meaningful relationships, connecting people, and strengthening communities. Outside of her professional work, Carla enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, and creating opportunities for others to grow and thrive together.
